ABSTRACT This study aimed to assess the cognition levels of students in terms of scientific process skills; hence their relationship to caregiver's achievement in the different caregiving areas. Specifically, the study assessed the cognition of scientific processes of the graduates in terms of observation and description, comparison, classification, measurements, inference and prediction. The processes were then related for student's achievement in different areas of caregiving such as Safety Care, Maternal and Child Care, Geriatric Care, Special Needs and Emergency Care.
