Summary, etc. This study sought to determine how the learning modalities influence the level of academic performance in Mathematics of sophomore students at Bonifacio Camacio National High School during the School Year 2013-2014. The researcher involved the 200 students as respondents coming from five sections of the sophomore students of Bonifacio Camacio National High School, Calaylayan, Abucay, Bataan. Specifically, the profile of the respondents comprised their age, sex, and monthly income. The learning modalities focused on print, visual, aural, haptic, interactive, kina esthetic and olfactory. On the other hand the sophomore students' level of performance will be based on the Grade Point Average (GPA). Implication on findings the study in enhancing the teaching-learning process in Math was also taken into consideration. The major tools used in gathering data pertinent to the study was the questionnaire, which is of a checklist type, entitled Questionnaire on Learning Modalities of the Sophomore Students. The researcher sought the assistance of other mathematics teachers of sophomore students in the administration and collection of the instrument. The questionnaire were retrieve personally after being accomplished by the sophomore students. The data were recorded and tabulated. The accumulated data were presented qualitatively and quantitatively. The data gathered were coded statistically, then processed using statistical software called SPSS and presented in tabular form using frequency counts, percentage, weighted mean, Independent Sample T - test, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Pearson Coefficient. The findings of the study were as follows: Majority of the respondents were aging fourteen to fifteen years of age, and most of the respondents are female, belongs to the monthly family income of five thousand and below. The student's respondents showed that their preferred learning modalities in mathematics were aural modality, haptic modality and kina esthetic modality. Generally, student's achievement in mathematics belongs to approaching proficiency. Among the profile variable of the students, sex, and monthly family income were found to be significantly related to their achievement in mathematics. It is recommended that teachers should develop and expand their instructional methods and techniques according to the learning modalities of their students. The teachers must accommodate individual, teaching, and counselling instructions results in increased academic achievement and improved student attitudes toward learning. The school administrator and teachers must pay attention to the light, air quality, noise or sound the students and to focus more on their learning styles. At the same time teachers must treat his/her students equally. He/She must remember that students continue to learn differently from each other; that nothing is more unbearable than treating individuals as though they were equals in most ways. Students should be permitted options and choices for completing their task and homework. Teachers must further think of more motivational strategies that will respond to students' different learning modalities.
