500 ## - GENERAL NOTE
General note ABSTRACT There is common assumption that students can perform better in class based on the kind of learning experiences they acquired in the previous years. It is said that learning is a long-lasting change in an organism's disposition to behave in certain ways as a result of experience. To some degree, this supports the general assumption previously mentioned. Students cannot show good or better performance unless they have acquired in the past the concepts and knowledge in the different subject tools such as those prescribed in the Basic Education Curriculum or BEC. Unfortunately, students' academic raised some questions as to how they taught by their teachers. National and regional achievement test as bases od students' scholastic performance failed to show promise in areas such as Science, Mathematics, English, and Araling Panlipunan.
