500 ## - GENERAL NOTE
General note ABSTRACT Today, computers seem to have influenced the way schools set their programs and projects in order facilitate computer-assisted teaching-learning processes so that students who are expected to be the productive citizens of their immediate community may acquire the needed skills to participate actively in the mulieu in which they operate. In spite of the benefits obtained from using computer in teaching and learning, there has been a shortage in its use in the Information and Communication Technology Curriculum of Olongapo City National High School. Moreover, the number of computers are not enough to serve the whole populace in the ICT Curriculum thus, there are students who seem to have not accumulated the computer knowledge they needed. This prompted the researcher to conduct a research on the level of computer proficiency of students as perceived by the students themselves and their teachers as well.
