Summary, etc. The study aimed to assess the teacher and school related factors on ICT use in teaching Social Studies in Secondary Public Schools in Bataan during the School Year, 2016-2017. The researcher used the descriptive design which focused on the assessment of the teacher and school related factors on ICT use in teaching Social Studies which the researcher described, analyzed and interpreted based on existing conditions . Moreover, random sampling technique or the fishbowl method using the lottery was employed. The respondents of the study were the 120 Public Secondary School Teachers in Social Studies of the 11 Districts of the Division of Bataan during the School Year 2016 2017. The data gathered in the dry run of the questionnaire were treated using Chronback's Alpha analysis that tested the reliability of the questionnaire with a result of 0.093 which indicated a high level of internal consistency and interpreted as excellent. The gathered data from the survey-questionnaire were encoded and statistically processed, the results were treated for a test of normality using SPSS to determine the appropriate statistical treatment for the test of correlation and difference. Kolmogorov Smirnov test of normality was used and further validated by another test of normality which was Shapiro Wilk test. Based on the test of normality, the researcher found that the data were all in normal distribution hence ,One-way Anova was used for the test of significant difference and Pearson Correlation for the test of significant correlation. vi In light of the findings, the researcher concluded that the profile variables as a factor for teacher skills in the use of ICT may be considered since the researcher found that it had no significant difference. The researcher also found out that even though teachers in public schools were experiencing difficulties in terms of availability of resources related to ICT use, it had no significant relationship with their skills in using the technology. Based from the data on correlational analysis, the researcher found that support for teachers in ICT training and the like had a significant relationship with their skills in using it in the classroom. In addition, there was no significant difference on the overall validation of the findings. Hence, the null hypothesis was being accepted. In view of the findings, it was recommended that teachers needed to maximize their effort in improving their skills and methods as per the use of ICT . By attending seminars, trainings, and on-line courses available. Trainings should also be based on the needs assessment not just for the teachers but for the students alike. With the advent of technology and information, policies on proper screening of data from the web should also be considered. The researcher recommended capability assessments for each division not just on ICT related activities but in other aspects in strengthening their capabilities to integrate ICT in teaching social studies.
