Summary, etc. This study aimed to determine the sense of gratitude, personal values and needs of 4Ps junior high school students for the School Year 2018 - 2019 wherein the results were used as basis for the development of modules that will enhance the sense of gratitude and positive personal values of students and to cater the needs of learners. The study was conducted in Balanga City, Bataan wherein there are two public schools namely Bataan National High School and City of Balanga National High School. Four hundred seventy (470) 4Ps students were selected purposively as respondents in the study. These students are certified beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. Specifically, sense of gratitude in terms of lack of a sense of deprivation, simple appreciation and appreciation for others were assessed. Personal values were also identified in terms of conformity, tradition, benevolence, universalism, self - direction, stimulation, hedonism, achievement, power and security. Assessment was also done on the following needs: academic, career, character building, economic, family, psychological- emotional, physical, sexual, social and spiritual - moral. Their age, sex, number of years a 4Ps beneficiary, marital status of parents and family monthly income were also determined. In the process of data gathering, researcher - based instrument was used. Data gathered were tabulated, analyzed and interpreted using statistical tools such as frequency, counts, percentage, mean, standard deviation and ANOVA. These statistical tools were carried out using the statistics software called SPSS version 24. For the profile of the students, frequency distribution was used while percentage, mean, and standard deviation were utilized in presenting the assessment of students' sense of gratitude, personal values and needs of students. With the use of SPSS, the probability values (p-values) ANOVA was used to established significant difference in the sense of gratitude, personal values, and needs of students when grouped by profile. Significant difference was established within the allowable probability level of 0.05. Based on the findings of the study, it was revealed that 4Ps students were adolescents, female, between 4 - 6 years as 4Ps beneficiaries, have married parents and have a family income of below Php 3,000.00. Also, 4Ps students have neutral perception about sense of gratitude. Conformity, tradition, benevolence, universalism, self - direction, stimulation, hedonism, achievement, and security are the personal values of 4Ps students. Academic, career, character - building, economics, psychological - emotional, social, and spiritual - moral are the needs of 4Ps students. The null hypothesis that there is no significant difference on the sense of gratitude and personal values of 4Ps students if grouped according to profile is accepted. However, when the needs are taken into consideration, the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference on the needs of 4Ps students if grouped according to profile is rejected. Thus, there is a need to produce modules for enhancement of sense of gratitude, personal values, and needs of 4Ps students in Balanga City, Bataan. It was then recommended for parents of 4Ps students, classroom advisers, subject teachers, and guidance counselors to inculcate to students to enhance their sense of gratitude and personal values. The Guidance and Counseling Office must conduct group counseling / focus group discussion among 4Ps students in order to address the students' academic, career, character - building, economics, psychological - emotional, social, and spiritual - moral needs. The Department of Social Welfare and Development which are in - charge of the 4Ps Program must strengthen the family and youth development sessions so that 4Ps students are given proper guidance in addressing their academic, career, character - building, economics, psychological - emotional, social, and spiritual - moral needs and enhance the sense of gratitude, and personal values of the students. The proposed modules for enhancing sense of gratitude and personal values and addressing the needs should be modified based on the results of psychological test being conducted among 4Ps students in order to assist them in their holistic development. Also, development of psychological tests that are related to sense of gratitude, personal values, and needs can be done in order to assess and evaluate accurately according to Filipino culture.
