The study centered on three words that capturethe whole essence of the research: teaching strategy, understanding and guiding. The researcher made use of purposive sampling technique in determining the 10 respondents of the study, who were Grade 8 students suspected to have Dyscalculia. In addition, the data was gathered using a self-made questionnaire that aided in identifying the best qualified respondents of the study and a set of unstructured interview questions that led to formulating the results and findings of the study. The interview with the Grade 8 students with suspected Dyscalculia was done separately. . The recorded interview was transcribed and analyzed using thematic analysis and was verified by the researcher through continuous reflection. The study revealed through the themes that emerged some of the issues and challenges of students with suspected Dyscalculia as well as their insights and perceptions towards learning Mathematics and their best practices despite their condition.Based on the findings, the study came up with a Proposed Supplemental Material on Selected Topics for Teaching Mathematics in Grade 8 to reinforce better learning of Mathematics 8 as well as to develop good study habits.Item type | Current library | Call number | Status | Date due | Barcode | |
