Material type: TextPublication details: Balanga City : BPSU, 2023.Description: xi, 96 pp. ; 28 cmSubject(s): Summary: The study aimed to investigate the extent of support of Local Government Units (LGUs) on District Hospitals Resilieney during the COVID-19 Pandemic from the years 2020 to 2022 in the province of Bataan. One hundred thirty respondents which included medical doctors, nurses, and medical personnel from the three district hospitals, namely: Jose C. Payumo Memorial District Hospital (JCPMDH) in Dinalupihan, The Orani District Hospital (ODH) in Orani and the Mariveles District Hospital (MDH) in Mariveles were the subjects of the study. The study employed a self-made questionnaire and appropriate statistical treatments. Kruskal Wallis H test as non parametric method for testing was applied to establish significant difference and Spearman Rho Correlation to signify positive correlation. The result of the study revealed that a significant difference is not evident in the average responses of the respondents since the p-values are significantly greater than the alpha of .05. thus, failing to reject the null hypothesis. Relatively, the result of the analysis using Spearman Rho Correlation exists a significantly high positive correlation among the given variables. Meanwhile, a significant moderate positive correlation exists between manpower/compensation and benefits and awareness. The study concluded that the local government unit (LGU) should support the district hospitals' resiliency in times of emergencies.Item type | Current library | Call number | Status | Date due | Barcode | |
