The curriculum that supports this book and the content itself have been developed and approved by the PHCC Educational Foundation Plumbing Apprentice & Journeymen Training Committee. The committee has endeavored to respond to industry demands for training material best suited to a field-oriented program.
The sixth edition has been updated to reflect the latest methods, components, codes and standards. Many illustrations have been added to help readers grasp concepts more completely.
This is the second in a series of four plumbing textbooks suitable for training in an industry or academic setting. The content has been selected and organized to suit students and trainees who have had at least 1 year of formal on-the-job training. The subject matter progresses on the assumption that students are applying what they learn in a school shop or field environment.
