Subject(s): Summary: The scientific advances in the nursing practice believe that there is a significant value between the human holistic attributes and their professional behaviors. Caring is the essence of nursing and is the basic feature that differentiates between nurses and other health professions The general problem of the study is to assess the holistic nursing care attributes of emergency care nurses and their caring behaviors among selected public and private hospitals in Pampanga and as measures to the implication of emergency care nursing practice during the Fiscal Year 2015-2016. The population of the study was limited into universal sampling among Emergency care nurses of selected private and public hospitals in Pampanga. The respondent the selected from the seven hospitals in the Central and East Area of Pampanga as recognized by the Department of Health as Level 2 and 3 classifications of hospital, namely, the Angeles University Foundation Medical Center, San Fernandino Hospital Inc., Florida Blanca Doctors Hospital Inc., V.L. Makabali Memorial Hospital, and Pampanga Medical Specialist Hospital, and two public hospitals: Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital and Romana Pangan District Hospital. In regards to the findings in this study, most of the respondents belonged to the 20-29 age brackets. Majority of the respondents were female, mostly were a holders of baccalaureate degrees. There were a bigger percentage of the respondents who have been in service for 1-2 years. Likewise, most of the respondents were Roman Catholics and majorities have attended relevant trainings and seminars in emergency nursing practices. In addition, there was significant difference in the Holistic Nursing Care Attributes of the Emergency Care Nurses among selected private and public hospitals in terms of age and trainings and seminars while in the Caring Behaviors of the Emergency Care Nurses only the Trainings and Seminars. Lastly, there was significant relationship between holistic nursing care attributes and caring behaviors of Emergency care nurses in both private and public hospitals.
