ABSTRACT Descriptive survey method of research was used in this study entitled "work-Related Stresses and Job Performance of Health Workers". This study involved all the health workers of Mariveles Mental Ward (MMW) from the three (3) service category namely: Medical, Nursing, and Administrative Support Group during the Calendar Year 2005. A locally made questionnaire expressed both in English and Filipinos was used as research instrument. Statistical tools used in interpreting data were frequency count, percentage, mean, Kruskal-Wallis' One way analysis of variance, Pearson's product moment coeeficcient of correlation, and T-test.
