ABSTRACT English instructors complain that the turn outs of college students cannot even identify subject-verb agreement, phrases, modifiers and grammar structures It has been observed by the researcher that whenever students are given quizzes and examinations, grammar got poor results. Judging from the result of the test students were found to be very weak in this type of English.
