ABSTRACT The study was focused on the computer competencies of teacher at St. Joseph College-Olongapo Vocational Technical Department during the School Year 2007-2008. The scope included the professional information of the respondents in terms of: educational attainment, eligibility, length of service, field of specialization and relevant training and seminar attended. The study is delimited in the level of competencies in terms of: knowledge such as: word processing spreadsheet, presentation package, internet browsing and programming language. It also includes skill such as: encoding, troubleshooting, programming, networking and maintain computer system. It involves also the school related factors which were described in terms of: management leadership and adequacy, availability and usability of facilities and equipment. This study used the descriptive type of research as describes and interprets what is. It is concerned with conditions or relationships that exist, opinions that are held, processes that are going on, effects that are evident, or trends that are developing. It is primarily concerned with the present, although it often consider past events and influences as they related to current conditions.
