This study was primarily to access the effects of heuristic learning of college students to their level of achievement in plane trigonometry and its implication to the mathematics instruction at Gordon College, Olongapo City during the second semester of the Academic Year v2008-2009. A total of 98 students were included from the classes of plane trigonometry. Courses included are associated in computer technology, bachelor of science in computer science, bachelor of science in information technology and bachelor of science education
