This study investigated the effects of strategic intervention materials in Chemistry to the students' achievement. SIM is an instructional material used in the implementation of strategic interventions for successful learning program of the DepEd since 2005. As far as the researchers are concerned, there are few studies that have been conducted to check the effectiveness of SIM. The study was conducted at Mabatang National High School, Mabatang, Abucay, Bataan, SY 2010-2011. The twenty third year high school students of were divided into experimental and control groups.
