This study is focused on the performance of selected private colleges in region III: status, problems and prospects for the Academic Year 2010-2011. The profile of the colleges was described through their curricular offerings, enrollment for the past three years per program, average class size, financial management system, supply management system, records management system, adequacy, availability and usability of facilities and equipment and retention and admission policies. The administrators' profile was described in terms of age, educational qualification, and supervisory experience and nature of appointment and the faculty profile was described in terms of age, gender, academic qualification, length of service, employment status, relevant training and seminars attended, performance rating and rank and hourly rate. The level of performance of the colleges in the licensure examinati0ons was likewise determined. The study also identified the problems as perceived by the students, faculty and administrators in the key areas of employment of graduates, admission and retention policies, adequacy, availability and usability of facilities and equipment, faculty qualification and faculty and staff development program.
