The study employed Mixed Method, a Sequential Exploratory Approach which served as a baseline of the study in determining the issues and challenges in integrating the social responsibilities in teaching Social Studies. The study was centered in three redeeming words about the whole essence of the research which are Responsibility, Values, and Education. The researcher made use of Purposive Sampling Technique in determining the respondents of the study who were identified as Social Studies teachers in Junior High School under the City Schools Division of Balanga. In addition, the researcher made use of a self-made questionnaire for both the quantitative and qualitative parts of the study. The research instruments were survey questionnaires and guided unstructured interview questions which were validated by different experts in line with the field of Social Studies. Gathering of the qualitative part of the study was first utilized followed by the quantitative part of the study. The data were interpreted using the softwares MAXQDA and SPSS to draw results and discussions of the study. The study revealed that based on the survey conducted to the Social Studies teachers. They have a perception towards classroom situation, teaching concepts value, and skills, utilization of school facilities and community involvement, and teaching strategies of Agree, which means there is still a lot of work that needs to be done to address issues pertaining to the mentioned categories. For the qualitative part, it is recommended to get support from the guardian and use of differentiated materials to support diverse learners. Furthermore, more researches about the issue must be done.
