Online tutoring became more and more popular among students throughout the Pandemic upsurge. The Department of Education adopted a high breed learning system in the middle of 2021 that also included online tutoring to provide students with learning instructions. There have been studies claiming that guided mindfulness technique can be effective to teaching even when delivered online (Roeser RW & Skinner E, 2012). With that, the present study experimented on the effectiveness of Wheel of Awareness: guided mindfulness technique' to 75 online tutors' level of mindfulness and attention through quantitative pretest and posttest research design. Attention has a composite mean interpretation of 'very frequently' before the implementation of guided mindfulness technique and a composite mean interpretation of 'somewhat frequently' after being exposed to the guided mindfulness technique. Furthermore, the level of mindfulness of online tutors also differed from 'never true' to 'always true'. It was discovered using dependent samples t-test that there is a significant difference in the online tutors' level of attention and mindfulness both before and after the application of the technique with a p-value of 0.000. The study recommends that schoolteachers and school counselors to take a proactive approach by adapting a simple academic counseling program developed based from the result of the study.
