<br/><br/> ABSTRACT  This study investigated the level of effectiveness of ISO 9001:2000 in the operation and maintenance of TRANSCO-District III Pangasinan Area from February 2007 to February 2008  Specifically, this study sought answers to the following: how may the implementation of ISO 9001:2000 be described in terms of resource usage, transparency of operation and probability margins; what is the level of effectiveness in the operation and maintenance of TRANSCO after the implementation of ISO 9001:2000 in terms of performance indicators, employees' perception and customers; and what is the implication of this study to the present level of operation and maintenance of TRANSCO?
