Psychology is not a body of knowledge; it is a way of approaching and analyzing the world. It is a way of asking questions about everything from the smallest curiosities to the largest matters of LIFE and DEATH. It is therefore our goal not only to convey the basic content of Psychology, but also to guide the readers to think critically and imaginatively about what they read and to apply what they learn to their own life and the real world; for it is the role of Psychology to promote human welfare and help social problems. This text will only remain a collection of pages with words on them unless the reader chooses to interact with its content. To make this text reader friendly, the concepts, theories and principles found in the different chapters are discussed with simplicity and clarity through illustrations and pictures.
