Assessing office automation system user experiences of Japanese FAB-registered enterprise using analytic hierarchy process [manuscript] / Mark Lester C. Quintana.

By: Material type: TextTextPublication details: Balanga City : BPSU, 2023.Description: xiv, 134 pp. ; 28 cmSubject(s): Summary: Organizations and businesses intending to stay afloat and relevant must adapt to the fast-paced and cutthroat competition by adopting new technologies, particularly in the field of information and communication. Technology mismanagement and poor planning remained two of the many pitfalls when engineer managers design and deploy newer technologies in the work environment. Part of the solution to this problem is to recognize the importance of user experience as part of the design and deployment of electronic communication and collaboration technologies as applied in an office automation system. This research proposes a practical approach that systematically frames the metrics necessary in evaluating Electronic Communication and Collaboration Technology Office Automation Systems (ECCT OAS) options as the basis for sound engineering management decisions. The researcher used qualitative and quantitative, a mixed method of research, that employs thematic analysis, and interview as tools, to generate ECCT OAS criteria, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to provide percentages and rankings of the generated criteria. The research results provided seven major ECCT OAS qualities with corresponding weight percentages that provide a practical numerical metric to evaluate ECCT OAS options and alternatives.
