520 _aRefining the teaching and learning process has always been one of the major apprehensions in education and coping with the world's learning standards to raise the value of education, the Department of Education enacted K to 12 program otherwise known as Republic Act 10533 or the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013. The unavailability of learning materials is just one of the problems still hounding the country's new basic education program, K to 12, in the three years of its implementation. In this regard, the study entitled Development and Validation of a Learning Module on Pre-Calculus in Grade 11 aimed at filling the gaps for an effective teaching material in Pre-Calculus. A total of fifty-one (51) teacher and expert respondents served as module validators from the different public junior and senior high schools, both in the Division of Bataan and Balanga City during the school year 2018-2019. The Teaching Material in Pre-Calculus is based on the mandated Curriculum Guide (CG) prescribed by the Department of Education. The study focused on the development and validation of the learning module in terms of the following criteria: learning objectives, format, content standards, organization, language, and usability. In the evaluation of the learning module, the overall weighted means in terms of the aforementioned criteria are 4.67, 4.81, 4.61, 4.66, 4.65 and 4.66 respectively. The results revealed that the developed module have met the criterion very highly. With the overall mean of 4.68 and a standard deviation of 0.34, the developed module is a potential tool. There was no statistically significant difference between the evaluation of the teachers and experts on the learning module's validation. Also, the developed learning module can be a useful tool for teaching and learning Pre-Calculus. It was recommended that the developed module should be published, disseminated, and used by teachers in mathematics classes to enhance pupils' academic performance and to elicit feedback for the improvement of the material. Finally, a follow-up study should be conducted to determine the effectiveness of the developed learning module.
