ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the National Science Instrumentation Center (NSTIC) Equipment in teaching science at Bataan National High School, during the school year 2005-2006. Using the stratified random sampling, 244 students from the first year, third year and fourth year high school students were drawn from a 2986 population. To quantify relationship among variables, frequency count, percentage and mean score were utilized. The z-test to test whether there exist a significant difference between the perception of teachers and the students in terms of usability, availability, usability and frequency of use of the NSTRIC equipment.
