This study was conducted to describe and assess the innovative activities employed by the food processing industry (FPI) in region III, specifically in the provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, and Tarlac. The 25 FPI's involved in the study have been in operation for more than five years and have adopted and implement innovations. These FPI's were categorized into: the meat processing industries and fruits and vegetables processing industries. The descriptive method of research was used. Data from the survey questionnaire were tallied and analyzed using frequency, weighted mean, percentage, and analysis of variance.
